Beacon Hill collaborates with luxury home furnishings brand Ankasa to
create Bespoke, a line of bedecked fabrics that are as beguiling and
bewitching as the ready-to-wear collection that inspired them. Bespoke’s
fabrics merge a modern, stylized look with ornate embellishments such as
faux leather appliqués, embroidery made of metallic wrapped yarn, grosgrain
ribbon and metallic beads. All were hallmarks of the Spring 2013 collection
of Sachin and Babi Ahluwalia, the visionary textile designers behind Ankasa.
Bespoke’s elaborate fabric constructions were perfected with the collaboration
of the finest Indian embroiderers and Belgian weavers. The collection’s palette
skews neutral and is interspersed with metallic, such as pewter, bronze and silver,
and an occasional color burst in the form of vivid cobalt blue or bright jaunty yellow.
Bespoke is Beacon Hill’s third collaboration with Ankasa, following Ankasa Legacy and
Ankasa Iconic. All three lines can work together to create a boldly fashionable story
for the interior.
